The History of California Fish Grill
Founded in 1948, California Fish Grill is a family-owned and operated business that has been serving up quality seafood for over sixty years. From the 1950s to the 1980s, the restaurant was located on Pico Blvd. and served as a popular spot for local families. When the strip mall where it was located went out of business in 1988, California Fish Grill moved across town to its current location on Crenshaw Blvd., just down from LAX. The new location afforded them more space and allowed them to expand their menu to include items not found at their old location. Today, this iconic eatery stands as a testament to the changing face of Los Angeles through its varied menu selections and its connection with generations of Angelenos.
